Privacy policy

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Mariusz Nowakowski, owner of the Bellita hair & beauty salon, with registered address at Oś Królewska 18/U7, 02-972 Warsaw (Wilanów), Poland. 2. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

• Handling contact enquiries — when you fill out the contact form or write to us by email, we process your name, email, phone number and message content in order to reply (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual steps and Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest of the controller).
• Booking through Booksy — the reservation system is operated by Booksy International sp. z o.o., which is a separate data controller. When you click “Book now” we redirect you to bellitasalon.booksy.com, where Booksy’s privacy policy applies.
• Site analytics — with consent given via the cookie banner we use Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager) to count visits, traffic sources and the popularity of subpages. The data is anonymised (anonymize_ip) and does not allow individual identification (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent).
• Google Maps — the contact section embeds a Google Maps view that loads only after you click the placeholder. The map is provided by Google Ireland Limited, which is a separate data controller for this purpose.
• Language preference — Polylang stores a cookie with your selected language (PL/EN/UA) so you can return to your preferred version. This cookie is essential for multilingual functionality and does not require consent (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Data retention

We retain your data for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:

• Contact correspondence — up to 12 months from the last contact, unless it leads to a booking (in which case data is transferred to Booksy).
• Analytics data (Google Analytics 4) — by default 14 months, per the GA4 settings.
• Booking data — retained by Booksy in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Server logs (IP addresses, user-agent) — up to 3 months for security and diagnostics.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights, which you may exercise by contacting us at salon@bellita.waw.pl:

• right of access to your data and to obtain a copy;
• right to rectification (correction) of inaccurate data;
• right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
• right to restriction of processing;
• right to data portability in a structured format;
• right to object to processing;
• right to withdraw consent at any time (e.g. by reopening the cookie banner and changing your settings);
• right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

6. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to update this policy periodically — for example when adding a new service, integrating a new provider or as regulations change. Any material change will be noted in the “Last updated” field at the top of this document.
